Christina is a psychologist, seasoned traveller, and longtime yogi who weaves together modern psychology, meditation, and cultural immersion to create transformative, grounded experiences.

 

With a deep love for exploring new landscapes—both outer and inner—she finds great joy in guiding others through journeys that awaken insight, presence, and connection. DAY 1 - WELCOME TO KATHMANDU

  • Airport pickup and check-in at the serene Baber Mahal Villas

  • Welcome dinner and group introductions in a historic courtyard

  • Ease into the journey with good food, connection, and conversation

DAY 2 - SACRED SITES & CITY CULTURE

  • Morning visit to Swayambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu’s iconic hilltop shrine

  • Rickshaw ride through the old city and Durbar Square Tibetan lunch at Dechenling, a peaceful garden restaurant

  • Guest speaker and group dinner

  • Overnight at Baber Mahal Villas

DAY 3 - INTO THE MOUTAINS: PHAPLU

  • Scenic private flight to Phaplu, gateway to the Solu Khumbu region

  • Arrive at The Happy House, a historic Sherpa home once described by Sir Edmund Hillary as his home in Nepal

  • Immerse yourself in the charm of this beautifully restored lodge, filled with antiques, thangka paintings, and local character

  • Enjoy a short acclimatisation walk followed by a fireside chat

DAY 4 - MOUNTAIN MONASTERIES & LOCAL LIFE

  • Gentle morning yoga or breathwork session

  • Hike to the cliffside Chiwong Monastery, founded by your host’s ancestors in 1923

  • Share a traditional lunch with monks and take part in a guided meditation session in the monastery’s sacred hall

  • Return to The Happy House for a foraging and cooking experience with Chef Mingma

  • Evening sauna, massage, and a four-course dinner

DAY 5 - BEGIN THE PIKEY PEAK TREK

  • Morning preparation and light movement to start the day

  • We embark on a three-day trek to Pikey Peak, following ancient trails once used by Tibetan and Nepali traders, and later by early Western mountaineers. Unlike the crowded Everest and Annapurna routes, this path remains quiet, we might be the only ones

  • Scenic 6-hour hike through rhododendron forests and Sherpa villages

  • Arrive at our permanent expedition style camp—with comfortable bedding, fullservice dining, and stunning views

​DAY 6 - HIGH COUNTRY VIEWS & HIMALAYAN STILLNESS

  • Hike to Pikey Khop (base camp at 3,700m), pausing for moments of reflection and photography

  • Arrive to your well-appointed expedition style camp site, hot meals, and creature comforts

  • Optional afternoon walk or quiet time in nature

  • Sunset dinner and rest beneath the vast Himalayan sky

DAY 7 - SUMMIT SUNRISE & RETURN

  • Early morning ascent to the summit of Pikey Peak for a spectacular Himalayan sunrise

  • Morning wake-up call will be at dawn
    with tea / coffee / hot chocolate brought to our tents. Porridge and fruits will be available before we set out for our summit walk.

  • On a clear day, see seven of the world’s 14 highest peaks, including Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, Kanchenjunga, and Annapurna

  • We will stay on the top for about 30 minutes enjoying the view and taking it all in. Hot beverages will be served on the summit.

  • We will return to the base camp for a hearty breakfast before beginning our walk north along the ridge towards The Happy House.

  • Then descend through mountain villages and forests before returning to The Happy House (car option available)

  • Celebrate with massage, sauna, and share stories of the trek

DAY 8 - A DAY TO INTEGRATE & REFLECT

  • A slow morning to rest and enjoy the grounds

  • Optional visit to Junbesi village or a regenerative farming project

  • Relax with wellness offerings, meaningful conversation, and space to unwind

  • Final night at The Happy House with fireside connection and shared stories

DAY 9 - RETURN TO KATHMANDU

• Flight back to Kathmandu
• Visit Boudhanath Stupa and enjoy lunch at a nearby café
• Explore the exquisite Patan Durbar Square
• Closing dinner at Baithak Restaurant, known for its rich Newari cuisine
• Overnight at Baber Mahal Villas
